CD Reviews

Amazing

"I can't get over how good this album is. I found it while looking for Circus Maximus clips on YouTube a few weeks ago. I thought that CM's Isolate was the best album of the last year or so... and then I found Mercy Falls... and I changed my mind. Mercy Falls is really an amazing album from start to finish.

After listening to Mercy Falls, I took an opportunity to listen to their album Waiting in the Wings, and I liked Mercy Falls better (but a little, not by a lot). While I like shifting time signatures and "weird" things you find in prog rock, Mercy Falls was a little lighter on these things and stronger on solid songwriting and composition. Made it a joy to listen to.

One criticism, if any, is that the story is a little vague. Not a lot of creativity there. (If you're looking for that, go get Operation Mindcrime or Scenes from a Memory). But for straight-up musical delight, get Mercy Falls. I've been listening to it everyday for the last few weeks, and the chorus to Welcome to Mercy Falls is still catchy. I can hear it now... "And welcome to mercy falls...."

Enjoy!"
The Best Album I've ever Heard

"I love Dream THeater, and in general, I Love Progressive Rock...

it's a very well worked music, and when you find a good album, or a good song, you can't listen it just once...you start listening the same damn song, over and over, the same happens with good albums, as i said before...

This album is one of those that I Said Before, it's one of the best albums I've ever heard in my whole entire life, It's so....I don't know How to Say it, so perfect, maybe? really, I swear, I Got The Album like a month ago, and I haven't been able to stop listening it, or at least once a day, It's very ballanced, 'couse it has hard heavy sounds, and soft touching ballads....really, the best equilibrated album, comparable with Dream Theater's Scenes From A memory...

anyways, I really recommend It for some Prog Rock Lovers, with some hard technical lead bass lines, and smooth atmospheric

keyboards, A very very strong and full voice, and well, a guitar that has to do enough, but it makes it an an awsome way.

Just Buy it!!!"
