It ain't necessarily great (but it's pretty good!)

"An icon of the Oz music industry in the 60's, Normie's career tapered off when he cut his hair and left for Vietnam. He is probably now more famous for a fist fight on national television over the republic v monarchy issue. Some of the music on this album is dated but there are some highlights; most notably Shakin' All Over (my personal favourite for the ahead-of-its-time drum solo and tinny guitar riffs), Que Sera Sera (a full throated Doris-Day-free version), I (who have nothing)(a poor man's Tom Jones), Breaking Point and It's Not Easy (the pick of his post-Vietnam repertoire which showcases the fact that Normie really does have a good voice). If you're looking for OzRock 60's memories, it's a pretty good pick-up but outside Oz...your call!"
