SHANNON (Guitar-flute-bombarde-banjo, violin-flute, guitar-vocals, bass, guitar-vocals, drums & keyboards-vocals) and the Ethnea label now offer the reissue of "Rock N' Reel", the first recording of the French band. Originally released as an audio cassette in 1991, the album now includes five bonus-tracks from 1998, foreshadowing the second album. Following the example of GWENDAL or KAD, Far from the traditional Fest-Noz from Britanny, Laurent PRUVOST and his teammates mix rock, jazz and Celtic folk with rare energy. Not unlike KAD's or GWENDAL's brand of music, the group brings a powerful, joyous and dynamic new style to light. Violin, bombarde and guitar pursue each other, combine themselves, and drive brilliant acrobatics on top of wild rhythms. Not to be missed !
