"Whoa...Here is a talented guitar player making some of the coolest music I have heard in a long time. With plenty of open-tuned virtuosity, Shawn Persinger is Prester John has put together a collection of songs that is moody, dark, melodic, sublime, beautiful, edgy...the adjectives go on. This album is perfect for a dark stormy day. I recommend it highly. out of the approximately 350 CD's that I own, "Peerless" is in my top ten."

"This is a pretty good CD. No wait, this is a really good CD, and you should buy it, and then you should go see Shawn in person whenever he plays a show near you. You won't regret it, I swear, and I'm sure it's free so you'd be having free fun. Anyway this is a really good album, lots of nice songs which consist a wide variety of styles, but he also has his own which is called "Modern/Primitive" guitar. Check it out."
