Synopsis

Album Description
Formed in response to the so-called 'Second Summer Of Love' by Duncan X and Lee Fraser, the splendidly named Sheep On Drugs set out to simultaneously mock and revel in the excesses of pop culture. Blending a mixture of sleazy rock, hard techno and punk nihilism into their own peculiar cabaret act of a rock n'roll band, they set out on tour with buckets of blood, syringes and a pulpit from which Duncan could rant at Punter (as they termed the audience), who lapped it up with a knowing postmodern acceptance of their own commodification. Now after an 8 year absence "the most decadent band of all time" return. Since experimenting with various line ups Lee Fraser is now "The cunt at the front" (his own words). The album, entitled "F * * K" is a hailstorm of break beats, snarling vocals, heavy industrial guitars and techno all wrapped in the bands usual punk attitude.

"I thought it was actually really catchy. Really good drum and bass lines. life on the rocks is amazing."
Just saw them live...

"I saw S.o.D. live a few nights ago. The live show was pretty weak- Duncan is gone and Lee just doesn't spew the filth and psychotic patter Duncan used to. (I've never seen them before, but I've heard the "Two For The Show" live album.)

But the new tracks sound pretty good, particularly "Machine Sex". Everyone I was with was underwhelmed, but agreed they would probably pick up this album in the future."

"I thought they would have progressed in the last 10 years, but no. Nothing intersting or new here. One decent track, "Streetwalker", but they've done it better already. They really need some new sound, or producer or something....drugs perhaps."
