"Check out this storyline: Uber-talented sax man Paul "Shilts" Weimar, at age 15, was part of the National Youth Jazz Orchestra of Great Britain, backing artists like Nancy Wilson, George Shearing, and Mel Torme. He turned pro at 16, backing the likes of The Temps, Four Tops, Drifters, and Rose Royce. From there, his personal timeline reads like this (I'll try to be brief!)... David Bowie, Bill Wyman (Stones), Breathe, The Firm, The Brand New Heavies, and, perhaps most familiar to Smooth Jazz fans, "Down to the Bone." JIGSAW LIFE is Shilts' third solo release, marks his fond farewell from DTTB, and brings him full circle to NuGroove, the label that was DTTB's first home in the U.S. in 1997. And what about this new project? Absolutely outstanding in every way! You would expect less? It's signature Shilts, cranked up a notch or two, and the first radio single, "Back on the Hudson" is a total dance groove track that's already climbing the charts. As they say, "But wait, there's more!" Indeed... just a dazzling varied collection of original tunes that prove over and over again what a musical superstar Shilts is. JIGSAW LIFE is over-the-top fantastic... I predict a monster hit album! ~SCOTT O'BRIEN"

"This has to be the most terrifc CD I have heard in a long time. This was my first exposure to Paul "Shilts" Weimer and wow! Funky, groovy, tight and oh what a crisp saxophone sound. I keep listening to it over and over. It just resonates deep down on some kind of emotional level. There is not one weak track on this CD.

"Just got my pre order through -this has to be the best piece of work Shilts has produced to date - funky, deep groves, great rythmn. If you like smooth jazz and the Down to the Bone Tunes you'll love this....go buy it!! Great vibe, great funk, I particularly liked Back On The Hudson. Good luck to the record company choosing the hits as they're all as wicked as each other!"
