Sia scored a top 10 hit with her debut single 'Taken for Granted' that sampled Provokiev's 'Romeo & Juliet'. Her debut album, 'Healing Is Difficult', arrived to similar cries of 'the next big r&b thing'. Then, to cap it all, she added her jazzy slurs to two tracks on Zero 7's 'Simple Things' album & became the unmistakable voice of the year's coolest down-tempo soundtrack. SiA a hidden gem!

"Sia hails from Australia and is responsible for one of the best and most underrated pop albums in the past decade. Her debut Healing Is Difficult is the closest thing to perfect. Sia fuses chill-out and pop with a pinch of soul, which makes a formula that is rich in melody. Her collaborations with moody band Zero 7 proved her vocal prowess with tunes such as "Destiny." But she also marveled as a solo artist with "Drink To Get Drunk" and the mesmerizing "Judge Me."
Colour The Small One is proof that she is here to stay. The underground queen concentrates on creating temperamental, yet scrumptious melodies demonstrated on "The Church Of What's Happening Now" and the opening track "Rewrite." The album does not have any upbeat numbers, but somehow the blend of melancholy with optimism composes a luscious mixture.
The album is packed with gems. It's very hard to pick the standout tracks, however, there are a few that stand like a soar thumb. "Breathe Me" has a kind of glum innocence to it that is rare in music today. "Don't Bring Me Down" has a haunting melody that will leave you wanting more and the closer of the album, "Where I Belong," is a masterpiece of modern music
There is not one track on Colour The Small One that fails to please. "Moon" is a simple and dynamic, much like "Sunday" and the compelling "Natale's Song."
Colour The Small One is an exceptional album."
