"The last few Sick of it All albums seemed to be lacking somethimg. Sure there were good songs, but they were just mising something. Whatever that was Sick Of it All seems to have gotten it back. This is probab;y their best album since Just Look Around. One of the best Hardcore releases od 2003."

"I don't know why everybody keeps saying this isn't there best; but to each his own. This record is fast and hard. It makes you want to get up and flip off a cop. I believe it also contains one of their most anthmetic, catchy songs to date; For Now. Tiiieegghht."

"The last Sick of it All Cd I bought was Scratch the Surface. I bought this. I liked it. It definitely shows their capability hasn't filtered away. This is a good sick of it all cd. One that I play often."
Not their best, but still vintage NYHC

"I've been into SOIA since blood, sweat and no tears, and I've always been into the new york hardcore sound. Whenever I see that these guys are putting out a new album I go get it directly. I feel like they went through a period from built to last until yours truly (both amazing albums, though yours truly manages to win the crown of both worst album title ever and worst album cover. I got this disc and was like "Yo, what the hell, did I just buy a beach boys album or something?", fortunately the music kept it real.) where they were trying to grow and experiment with inclusion of more Oi! and punk flavors. Sometimes the recipe worked, sometimes it didn't. Well they seem to have nailed it on the last 2 albums.
Why not 5 stars? Well, I love the disc, but it feels like it's missing something, none of the tracks jumps out like a classic, where I hear it and can just picture the crowd goin nuts. That said it was great to hear bloodclot singing on paper tiger. Along with Bloodclot's former band the Cro-mags and Agnostic Front, SOIA are the best live band ever to come out of New Yawk. If you like the disc, go to a show, you'll get floored (maybe literally). C'Ya."
