This disc is a little pricey because it is an hybrid SACD surround sound which plays in both CD and SACD players. Manufactured in the EEC on the New Classical Adventure label (see www.membran.net), 2006. Recorded in Deutschland, of course.
Belle Époque lieder of the ultra-Art Nouveau composer Karg-Elert (1877-1933), settings of poems by Heine, Rückert, Lessing, Dehmel, and one Melanie Barth.
