"Simon Fisher Turner shows his real genius on the soundtrack to Derek Jarman's film of the same name. Although much of the soundtrack is found in the film, there are also remixes at the end which extend the themes to brilliant effect. Every style of music is present here, from pop to folk, and they are all woven together with lines from the film. Like SFT's later soundtrack album of the film Blue this soundtrack is just as enjoyable without the film's visuals to help it along. If you are someone who likes the idea of SFT's music but can't stand his non -soundtrack albums this is the CD for you."
