"Simon known mainly for his stints with Hawkwind, Bowie, and High Tide released his only solo album.Criminally ignored this album has light... dark....sublety.. bombast... Mood and time changes abound with Simons beautiful violin cutting through a synth backing. I just cannot find words to describe how wonderful this album is.. I feel sad so few people have ever heard it. No one I've played this album to has ever failed to love it.Special mention for Sherwood which is quite simply the most beautiful instrumental I've ever heard.. the imagery from the music is astounding. When you consider some of the rubbish music about the fact that this album is not appreciated more is incredible.. oh well... at least a few have taste"

"Never was all that thrilled about this disc by the Hawkwind/Bowie/High Tide/Third Ear Band violinist.I enjoyed his three Spiral Realms efforts MUCH better.Couple of tunes here that are fair to put in your home entertainment center every great now and then are the title track "Yassasim",the fifteen-minute "Northlands" and "Neuroscape"."
