"I don't normally write spontaneous hate fuelled reviews but unfortunately I feel compelled to do so on this occasion. The song welcome to my life it the most self-pitiying sh*t I have ever heard. And I cant go anywhere without hearing the damn thing. The lead singer wines about how awful his life is. Yeah it must be hard to be a pop star making money of kids emotions. Most kids that listen to this will be like `oh I can really relate to what he's saying' etc. Well I have a message for you. Everyone has it hard growing up, it's completely normal to have difficult teenage years. But if you're rich enough to be able to buy this cd or watch the single on mtv then your life isn't that bad, seriously! What got my goat was that simple plan performed this single at mtv Asia aid. How can that guy stand there and complain about how hard *his* life is when thousands of people have lost their homes, loved ones and had their entire world turned upsidown? It's incredibly immature. Its easy to drown in self pity and think that the whole worlds against you but its just not true. Whenever life gets me down and I feel like complaining, I just think about all those people in the Far East, and then slap my self for being so self absorbed. Life isn't fair, its just better then death. Get used to it!"
Just shut up and listen

"this cd is worth every penny. im not writing this to force anyone to like simple plan. im just saying that u shouldnt listen to all of the a** holes that only listen to rancid, bad religion, anti flag and so on. i like all of those bands but i also love simple plan. no simple plan isnt exactly punk. who cares? did they ever ask u to call them that? no. they know that their music is poppy and they havent changed their sound at all to try and fit in with all the punk acts. most of the people who dont like them havent ever listened to one of their records all of the way through. just give them a chance. i have been reading other reviews and this is what i have to say to them. first of all to the person who said that they are rich and famous so they shouldnt be complaining doesnt know anything. do u realize how sucky that life could be? not being to see your family and friends and being in the public eye 24/7? you are a moron. they are real people with real problems. they write about what they feel. to the person who said that WTML and complicated by avril were basicly the same song...youre stupid. the songs have totally different meanings. i will agree that SP has a younger fan base but why does that metter?no sum 41 doesnt like simple plan. who cares? a lot of bands dont like sum 41...is that going to stop you from buying their album? to the person who said that you should only buy a SP album if u are a 12 year old girl...go drink bleach...please. i am 17 years old and simple plan is my favorite band and has been since 2002. i can still relate to all of their songs. they are one of the only bands around today where every single one of their songs have real meaning. all of them. aside from the music they are the absolute nicest band to their fans. after every single show all of the fans who came have an oppertunity to meet them. ive been to nine simple plan shows and met all of them each time. they are great guys who write great music. i know that simple plan will always be there for fans like me...and wont let all the haters phase them."
