"After literally having thrown the cassette of "Peepshow" out of my car window while driving because I was disgusted with Siouxsie and the Banshees, I wrote the band off. Fast forward 20 years and thanks to the digital age, I started sampling the last three albums by the band on iTunes and here at Amazon. While nothing like the heyday of Kaleidoscope, Juju and A Kiss in the Dreamhouse, I have come to appreciate Peepshow, Superstition and now The Rapture. A little pop, a little Creatures and now and again, a bit Siouxsie-ish, The Rapture is a solid album. After 20 years of forsaking the band, it's fun to hear Siouxsie sing an outright pop song, O Baby!"
