Fresh Latin Hip/Hop/Reggaeton Artist

"Only in her 20's, she is an artist who has more potential than most of the mainstream artists out there. There are artists who can last for 10 years or so and sell records, but La Sista will only get better. She may prove to be a long standing artist and an innovator in her genre. She appeared on Anais's song "Sexo, Sexo" from her Asi Soy Yo album and has also worked with Calle 13 and Nejo. La Sista is a fresh female Puerto Rican artist who may not get the fame of other female artists since she is not the most mainstream artist. Instead she is raw, honest, and pure talent. It's like she says on Si Me Ves Por La Calle, "Soy mas real que los reales." One of the most interesting songs on the album is "El Valor De La Vida." Out of all the songs on the album, the most mainstream ones are "Baila Conmigo" and "Rule Candela." "Anacaona" is definitely the stand out track and one of her hits.

"If you are looking for reggaeton from a female perspective give this CD a listen. Very distinctive hand drum sound on several tracks."
