Synopsis

Album Description
The excess of bands like Motley Crue, Ratt and Scorpions only measured up to the amount of power and volume that came from the speakers each time you spun one of their records. Why reminisce about the glory days of Rock n' Roll in the 1980s? If you yearn for that raw, dirty Rock n' Roll, then thank your lucky stars for SISTER SIN. The band came to the States last year and played with every band from ILL NINO and OTEP to classic metal heroes BULLET BOYS, FASTER PUSSYCAT and the mighty MOTORHEAD. True Sound of the Underground picks up right where their debut Switchblade Serenade left off. A punishing rhythm section, a piercing crushing guitar and a metal siren behind the microphone is surely doomed for greatness.

Sister Sin true sound of the underground

(5 out of 5 stars)

"If you enjoy hard rock music, you will dig this album! True sound of the underground is the 3rd. release from S.S. and they have gotten better each time out. The band comes from Sweden and they are a throw back to 80's glam/sleeze metal. Its a power trio with a female singer who is raw and intense with her delivery, the guitar player has great licks, with no slow songs to be found on this cd.

Not as radio friendly as there last cd (which rocked) but thats a good thing in this case. It appears the band is out to win over the world on its own terms. They will be opening the M.Schenker/Lynch mob tour,so the rock gods are taking notice of this band."
