"Along with Black Woman and Child and Praise Ye Jah, Bobo Ashanti is one of the best albums Kalonji has ever done. It is about as close to perfection lyrically on an album that music can be. The absolute favorite of course is "The World", and that is saying alot for that tune because it could easily be any of the other songs. Also absolutely love Courage, Grow U Locks, This Day, of course Attack, Glorify, and I could add every song on the album to that. Sizzla does his best work at home on Xterminator, and Burrell has every track pumping beautifully. If you are a fan of Kalonji's you already have this album, and if you're staring to listen to him, then by all means start here. Absolutely Flawess!"

"A few years ago, I was in the reggae section of a music store just browsing and some cat strikes up a conversation with me about reggae music. "Have you ever heard of Sizzla," he asks and I respond with a no. "Oh, you should give him a listen," he says to me. So, I pick up this CD and dude was right. This Sizzla CD is a real treat. I've listened to snippets of his other stuff and most times the gruffness of his voice turns me off, but not so with this CD. I can put this on and listen from start to finish, often times letting it run twice. Granted, I usually don't have the foggiest idea of what he's talking about, but sometimes I can catch a phrase or two and the music itself is pretty good. "This Day" is my favorite track. "Good Looking", "Wicked Naw Go Prosper", "Children Beware" are stand outs for me as well. I can't get down with most of his other stuff, but this one works for me."
Uh, I liked it

"Man, people hate on this record. Doesn't it seem unfair to expect that an artist as prolific as Sizzla drop a masterpiece every single time. The poor guy, nothing he ever does will stop being compared to Black Woman and Child. Granted, that album is probably his magnum opus, but that was 1997. In all fairness, he's probably too prolific for his own good. He has released something like 28 records since 1997 which is almost absurd when you think about it. And while I agree that some of his albums are well, not so good, Taking Over for example, I think Bobo Ashanti is a great record. Everytime I think Sizzla has fallen off he comes back with something like this or The Real Thing, which I also think is a great record. "Whether or Not", "This Day", and "Wicked..." are excellent Sizzla tracks and I can listen to this CD the whole way through. I strongly recommend this album to any Sizzla or contemporary reggae fan. Well deserving of 4 stars in my opinion."
A very good cd
