"If you're already on this page, reading this review...chances are you'll love this group. Skunk Anansie was a very talented group. The lead vocalist, Skin is just amazing! It's just too bad that not many people heard of this band. I heard of them through some soundtracks that I had. I was quick to check out if they had any albums released and I bought this straightaway. And I have no regrets whatsoever. The music on this album is very good, far beyond my expectations. If you thought groups like Evanescence is good, give this a try. There is a lot of emotion and strength in the songs, which keep you hooked on for a very long time. Although I don't listen to this album as often, I still do pop in this CD at least once a fortnight to enjoy their music, which I rarely do for the other albums I own. It's just a pity that this band broke up. Ah, well...at least they produced good music before they left."
Powerful Vocals and Awesome Music. Buy it and be impressed

"Skunk Anansie feature one of the best vocalist of all time. The power and emotion Skin delivers in her singing is astonishing. Once again Skunk have delivered an album that is devoid of even mediocre tracks, producing consistently good to excellent songs.
When I first heard this album, my jaw dropped at how different the opening drum work was from Skunk's previous albums. And I really liked it and I wished the track continued in that vein. However, it flips into a fairly regular (but very good) rock track, and while the album makes more use of electronic instruments than the previous work, it's still mostly an angry woman backed by guitars and drums. That's not to say that Skin just shouts her vocals, as she has tremendous subtlety and beauty in many songs. The depth of expression she crafts is what raises Skunk Anansie's sound head and shoulders above the rest.
Buy it. You won't regret it."
