CD Reviews

Husgow tells us (to clarify the date)

(4 out of 5 stars)

"Back around 1994, this alt-country/rock band released their first album, Crow Pot Pie, in the small numbers that most upstart bands do (500 or 1000 copies, depending on who you talk to). Texas based Doolittle Records (bought out by the band's current label, New West, several years ago) heard Crow Pot Pie and signed the band. As the band had evolved into a different line-up and the original production was sparse, Crow Pot Pie was re-recorded, dropping a few songs and adding a few different ones."

"This is probably my favorite band of all time. Ive been listening for 3 years. I was looking for their next tour dates and found out they had just played their last gig and broke up. I was so depressed after hearing this. Anyway, "I can tell ur love is wanin", "16 days", "dunk u in the river" are 3 of my favorites. You cant go wrong with this cd. If you dont lke like it at first, keep listening. It will grow on you. Ive bought all of their albums. I just wish they had more."
