The Poets pound out hard, heavenly rock

"On their past two albums, the Atlanta-based Poets have started out strong, with powerful Christian rock songs, and then tapered off into this sort of abyss of melancholy, forgettable tunes. Not this time. The first chords of "Any Reason," the album's first song, set the tone for the entire LP. Almost every song on the album has a hard, electric edge, and the lyrics are sophisticated and thoughtful, as we've come to expect from the Poets. Good stuff all the way around."

"I bought this album the first day it came out and I love it. There is no way to compare them with anyone else. I just love his voice. The lyrics are beautiful. My favorite song is "Any Other Love". It rings true. Go and buy the album. It is not a waste of time or money."
