"A classic, no doubt! And the bands best, IMHO.
This is in the Florida-style of blues. Not the older, Delta style or the faster, more rock and roll-like, Texas guitar-driven style. It's still led by the guitar but there's also a lot of good harmonica playing on it. The vocals and the rhythmn section are also solid. Also worthy of note is the lyric style which incorporates humor into the music along with a good dose of social consciousness. But mostly this is just good quality, fun music.If you're serious about the Blues you can get this and I'm nearly positive you won't be disappointed.
PS. Another very good Florida blues band worth looking in to is The Sarasota Slim Blues Band."

"OK, A friend of a friend caught this group in Florida, bought the CD (also "Edge of the Swamp") ripped it for them, they for me and their superlatives were right on the mark.
I'm a harp player and the harp licks are the way backup is supposed to be - not overdone and perfect timing. The mixing is also top notch. Do yoself a kindness and put this on your Ipod under 'My Top Rated'"
