"I bought this CD to rehearse for the part of Snoopy in a version of this play, and I love it! It is a much better CD than the other version Amazon offers. It includes all of the songs from the original play. I especially loved "When Do The Good Things Start" and "The Big Bow-Wow". After hearing how much I liked it, practically the entire other cast of the play bought a copy. This CD is great for all, Peanuts fans or not."
Spirit of Snoopy

"I saw the musical during its short run in the West End and think the album captured the spirit of the musical-short, sweet and witty. The music is catchy, the lyrics are fun and the whole album is entertaining for children and children-at-heart. My favourites are "I know now" (how true) and the motivating "Don't be Anything Less..." You don't have to be a fan of Peanuts to enjoy the album but if you are, will understand the reasoning behind a couple of the songs."
Best Musical You've Never Heard About

"I was [quite young], and I remember being taken to see some show that had a song that stuck with me for the rest of my life. All I could remember was that the words "Poor sweet baby" were in it, and that it was one of the prettiest songs I had ever heard. Well fast forward 15 years to the glorious age of the internet, where one can do online searches of lyrics, and lo and behold, my long lost song and musical, Snoopy and "Poor Sweet Baby". All of my friends think I'm nuts that I love this musical. But I got it for the one song alone and fell in love with so many others. This is not the kind of musical one thinks of - i.e. Cats, Phantom, Rent, Les Mis, etc. but I think that is what gives it it's charm. Simple, funny lyrics, a single piano for background, it enables you to really absorb the charm of all the Peanuts characters. You are either going to love it or hate it. If you hate it, you will be very angry that you wasted your money and time on this piece of garbage, but if you love it, you will treasure this CD for the rest of your life. Songs like Daisy Hill, Just One Person, and the Great Pumpkin are great in their simplicity and innocence. We all should strive to find the special person in our life that "when we are feeling tired or depressed, she'd cuddle up to me and whisper "poor sweet baby"""
Enjoyable Show, Enjoyable Songs

"I saw a local production of "Snoopy The Musical" two years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the songs and saw that a CD was available (actually 2 CDs) of the musical. I took the suggestion of many and bought the London version (as opposed to the San Francisco version) which has more songs. The songs are catchy and even moving. "Clouds", "Vigil" (about Linus's wait for the Great Pumpkin) and "I Know Now" are all fun and well performed plus the high-velocity "Don't Be Anything Less Than Anything You Can Be" is a high point. And if the songs "Where Did That Little Dog Go" and "Mother's Day" don't put a lump in your throat, then you must have checked your heart at the door.I actually think the songs on "Snoopy" here are as a group, better than those in "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" although the latter show has better use of dialog. This is about 60 minutes of pretty good entertainment for the whole Peanuts-loving family."

"First of all, if you're considering buying the American version of the CD, chase that thought out of your head immediately. This version sounds much better, and is much more inclusive.
I actually played Charlie Brown for our school musical that lasted 4 days. I have to admit that at first I loathed all of these songs, and yet they have suspiciously grown on me to the point that I listen to this CD daily. This is really a great CD, with music that caters to almost all. You won't be disappointed. I especially recommend Hurry Up Face, Daisy Hill and When do the good things start :) Enjoy"
