"I've been a Snowy and the White Flames fan for some time now. When first getting into them, this live album made me a hard-core fan. The band cuts loose more so than on the studio recordings, and showed just what an absolutely smoking band that they are. Snowy plays with more feel and soul than the other British greats like Clapton and Green. And yes, he should be mentioned in the same breath with them. But you know what? They didnt play with a backing band of the caliber of the White Flames! This one is in the top five of my collection of several hundred blue/rock/jazz albums.



Snowy's vocal style may not be everyone's cup of tea (I personally really enjoy it), if thats the case enjoy his fine guitar work with his other band, Snowy White's Blues Agency, where he is not performing the duties of lead vocals.



Snowy has quite a history, from recording with Peter Green and touring with Pink Floyd, to playing with Thin Lizzy. Roger Waters has claimed he will not go on tour without Snowy White on guitar duties, and his countless tours with Pink Floyd and Roger Waters solo touring showcase the amazing versatility of his guitar playing."
