"So Pra Contrariar is a talented group. I bought this CD because of the first song, which was very popular in Puerto Rico. Nevertheless, the whole album is enjoyable to listen to. Alexandre Pires has a beautiful voice. I enjoy the passion with which he sings. I strongly recommend adding this CD to your music collection. Beleive me, you won't regret it."

"I discovered this group while watching TV in Rio de Janiero. I was taken with the lead singer's obvious physical apperance and the reaction he was getting from the crowd. I thought to myself this guy can't sing he's to beautiful but boy can he sing and write and produce. I can't wait for him to cross over and do something in english. Hell I'll produce given the chance. Charles"

Smooth samba

"So Pra Contrariar puts together a smooth collection of low-key but still upbeat samba. I put this cd on when I want to relax and still feel positive and energetic. It's an interesting combination. I keep the cd in my office so that when I get a bit stressed, this music will put me back where I belong: happy and peaceful. A good combination, no matter how you look at it. You don't just get an energetic charge from the music but throughout the 15 songs there's party music, romantic music and about 60 minutes of listening pleasure."
