Soce brings the laser heat!

"Soce has been dropping science since the illtown days of Kensington, NH. He's taken his game the ivy towers of New Haven, CT, and now he's taking over the NYC universe. If for nothing else -- and it's a great album all around -- get this album for "Not Wanted." It's one of the best songs I've heard this century, with a hot beat, introspective lyrics, and a dark chorus that won't get out of your head. "I'm That" is another outstanding track, pointing fun at all ridiculous level of rapper braggadocio that pervades the music industry.
Scoe's bringing the heat from the gay jew stronghold (who'd have ever dreamed) to the streets of New York and beyond--get on the bus before it explodes!"
Funky fun

"With smart lyrics, funky beats, and a great sense of humor, soce, the elemental wizard (otherwise known as socetew) will have you dancing and laughing all night long. His music is fun and unique, with phat beats that you can't resist. He shows a level of intelligence and originality missing in much of today's rap and rock, deftly handling subjects that many dare not broach - anything from the difficulty of finding a man when you are gay ("he's hot but he's heterosexual") to the challenge of making it in the music world when you don't fall into the standard categories (like socetew himself - the self-styled gay, Jewish, white MC). In a time when much of rap and rock is focused on cookie-cutter sounding money, sex, and love songs, socetew's amazing vocals and creative rhymes blows the competition away."
A rising star, to say the least

"Soce's album is a truly fresh glimpse into the life of a guy in NYC with quite a few stories to tell. The lyrics are original and the beats are very catchy. Definitely a CD to check out!"
