Peacefull sleep and a sense of how the body heals!

"With pillows surrounding my body and my headphones on, I relaxed as my body drifted into an incredibly deep sleep. Never have I woken and felt quite so healed or refreshed. It was as if my spirit was vibrating at a new level within my body. It is hard to explain unless you have experienced this place of peace. I am an avid promoter of massage and natural healing. This to me is similar to a massage - but is a massage for the soul.
As a child my mother often played classical music for me and swears by its calming effect. At college I often attended many concerts and always enjoyed the classical music the most. I recommend the CD version since Dr. Weil speaks for a few minutes and you may not want to listen to this each time. It is easier to forward to the music. Sometimes I do listen to his voice since it is so calming and you cannot learn everything just listening once.
I highly recommend this CD if you need physical or emotional healing. He is onto something and I know you will benefit from this relaxing retreat.

Perfect for sleep, study, and de-stressing

"This CD contains two actual tracks: an intro and then an hour-long piece of music. The intro is soothing music and Dr Weil explaining what this CD is all about, how to use it, etc. He tends to be a little new age-y for my taste, but this CD is amazing. I fell asleep to it last night, and it was a gentle process. I really felt lulled by the music. No jarring transitions between songs or parts, and all of the sounds were pleasant. I am also using it to study, which has been very helpful. It relaxes me and helps me focus on the task at hand, not to mention blocks out the surrounding noise. It really is a great CD, a nice mix between traditional orchestral sounds and soothing new-age type synthesized sounds. A good buy with many uses!"
Healing

"I first used this CD when I was recovering front breast cancer surgery. It relaxes you body and mind and allows you to rest and recover. I recommend it to everyone undergoing stress to help prevent the mind from hurting the recovery. I bought another copy for a friend just starting down the chemotherapy trail. I hope it helps her as much as it did me. I still use the CD to help myself ease into sleep."
Sound Body, Sound Mind, A Healing Experience!

"I listened to the beautiful healing music of "Sound Body, Sound Mind", preparing myself for surgery. The music lifted my spirits and gave me courage. During my operation, though unconscious, I had headphones on, the tape on continuous play and I listend to the music on a deeper level. After surgery, I had the music on continuous play during recovery and during the night as I slept. The music invigorated me. I woke at 3:00 AM one night full of joy and happiness, not the usual fear and loneliness one usually experiences in the middle of the night at a hospital. I have continued to listend to the music at home, at least twice a day, while recovering. This wonderful music brought me peace and joy. I thank Dr. Weil and all those who put it together. I have been telling everyone I meet about the healing properties of this wonderful music."

"Have listened to this tape for years. Very effective in calming the mind. First relaxation method that I have used for years. Use it before dentist visits, when things are hectic and everyday. Very refreshing after listening to it."
