"from the keyboardist of jessamine and now fontanell makes beautiful electronic music kind of cold and deep, with very pure sine waves modulating slightly over long periods of time. Im not sure how he generates the tones found within, but they are so clean and pure Im tempted to think he's working with fundamental sound sculpting programs on a computer, programing waves and modulation as formulas that play out as you listen. Fans of Andy Brown's work in Jessamine might be a tad dissapointed at the stillness of this CD, but the La Monte Young-esque minimalism found within should be seen in its own light, not as a side project of an experimental rock band. This CD is more of a portable instalation piece than anything else, remindng me of La Monte's Dream Room, or perhaps Phil Niblock's tone instalations (which ive barely heard and never seen, mostly read about). You can put it into you CD player and fill your surroundings with simple deep tones that fade into the backround of you consciousness."
