Product DescriptionA double-disc featuring twelve rock songs, two electronic songs and four remixes. The work spans multiple genres and sounds - from heavy, guitar-fueled indie rock to atmospheric synths and beats.
From deep inside the darkest rock clubs at the latest hours of night arises Spacebar, a cutting-edge rock band from Orlando, concerned only about performing and recording intense electronic-rock songs that stamp themselves on your life.
The origins of Spacebar can be traced to 2003 in Jacksonville, Florida when James Rowand (vocals, bass) and Arthur Hardie IV (lead guitar, keyboards) first recorded some songs on a 4-track. These primitive recordings lead to a production deal in 2004 with Thornton Productions, which relocated the band to Orlando. There Spacebar picked up drummer, Brandon Marsden. And those once primitive recordings evolved into coolly-crafted intense rock songs with striking melodies that ring with originality.
Spacebar's debut album, Our Fight, has just been released in May 2007 on 12:24 Records. The album is a double-disc: one 12 song album and a 6 song remix/electronic EP. Recently Bill Hamel joined Spacebar's live show, using his electronic talents to beef up the rock with beats, keyboards, synths, loops and other assorted oddities.
So ask yourself...are you awake while everyone else sleeps? If yes, then welcome home.
