The Most Timeless Fabriclive Mix Yet

"Many works in this series fall into the pit of showcasing the DJ's talent only, and not trying to please the listener for more than an hour.
Not so with this disc.
In what is my favorite "summer CD" of all time, Spank Rock mashes gems from the 80s (Kano's "I'm Ready" and much more) with high-profile tracks from today (see "Technologic"), often redoing the song from top to bottom and making it better each time. Without fully realizing it, the listener is taken on a journey through all types of catchy rhythms that can be played over and over. The tunes relax and enthuse the mind, gently pushing away any preconceptions of what a mix tape should sound like.
Perfect when mixed with heat and the summer sun. I have yet to play it at a party, but put up against all the other fabric live discs, I'd be sure to choose this one."

"The Fabriclive series is a very uneven one, but this is a total gem. All over the place musically with an effortless flow; it stays interesting and completely addictive. Yello? Ed Banger stuff? Yes? (Well that may have been a misstep, but we can forgive, no?) It's great, and the glorious ending with "Love to the World" is about as uplifting as it gets."
