""Spin This" takes the Rembrandts to a new phase, essentially Danny Wilde's solo disc. Best known in my house as recording the theme song to "Friends" from their "L.P." CD, there is some great stuff on this disc. The opener "Shakespeare's Tragedy" is one of the prettiest, catchiest tracks, "I don't want to make you, I just want to take you down to the cool clear water under the sun-filled sky; I need you & you need me; God alone knows why." Wilde joined with former Gin Blossoms' Jesse Valenzuela to write "Long Walk Back" that has chiming guitars and a driving beat. "Out of Time" is soft orchestral pop followed by the thundering crunch of "Wishin' Well." My two favorite tracks are the opener and "Summertime," both of whose orchestral arrangements were written by Van Dyke Parks, "It won't long until I melt away, and like a river runs into the bay, today the sun is hiding; tomorrow it will shine in summertime." "Tomorrow's Mine" has dense guitars on a midtempo track followed by the slow thunder of "Get It Right." "Eloise" has a pulsing beat. "This Close to Heaven" rocks well, "I've been down too long without you." The CD concludes with "Beautiful Thing," "Sometimes I think I think too much; when I feel I'm losing touch, I've got just the record to play." "Spin This" is a great pop disc complete with 3 standout tracks and is consistently good. Don't miss it!"

"Well since Phil left the rembrandts Danny wilde was under obligation to produce a new Remdrandts album so here it is. It again sticks to Rembrandts territory of strong melodies harmonies and an ear for a good tune. This time however the sound is very much stripped down ala the bands debut album 'The Rembrandts'. the songs however are as strong as ever with Danny showing us again why he is regarded as one of the best songwriters ever. Like previous albums theres slow songs, Shakespeare's Tragedy, Out Of Time and summertime
and fast ones Long Walk Back,Tomorrow's Mine, Eloise and This Close To Heaven. One of the best songs has to be the albums cloer Beautiful Thing an ironic slice of pop, danny sings about using a song to make everything alright and that his song would be the catchiest out there, and you've guessed it theis song is VERY catcha complete with 'Hey Jude' stye naaa naaaa's
So to conclude get this album if your a RemBrandts or Danny fan, and if not pick this up if you appreciate good guitar music you wont be dissapointed!"
