"obviously the guy who reviewed the CD before I did doesn't now the first thing about good music.



I first heard of the spirit that guides us when they released their debut 'the sand the barrier' and it completely rocked my socks off!



then this one, the follow up. it had to grow on me, I have to admit. it's nothing like the debut. gone are the mogwai like soundscapes and the ?beragressive hardcore parts. but the spirit is capable of writing a good rock song, or a couple of them. nice singalong choruses and good melodies. I love the lyrics, and the way the guys sing.



the only downside is the almost complete disappearance of the screaming part. I know he sounds like a maniac, but I love it."
