"This album ultimatley attacks your mind when listened to. Mouth's soothing lulliby entrence, to its crushing yet fervent body, to Kenoma's strong in depth riffs, to thier mood bending, dark, explosion of sound. Everything in this split has the right ingredients to have you in awwww. I first heard both Mouth of the Architect & Kenoma in a bar together and I must say that it was a breathtaking experience to listen, feel, and watch, as the two bands exposed thier emotions so abstruse. I quickly purchased the split and beagn to enjoy. Mouth of the Architect deliver a 17 min. song that starts out with a soothing abstract of noise then falling into magnitude of clash, voice and intrusive guitar which follows into a peacefull drum repetition. Jumping from heavy to soft throughout. Kenoma open with "Nature of Empire" which starts with a repetition of vibrant bass and guitar then slowly turning the page to a light depth array of noise and kick. 1913 delivers even more enormity than Nature of Empire with its armageddon like structure and screaming guitar riffs in the center of the song. Overall, this split is a must hear and would recommend it to anybody..."
Whelp, this is a good one indeed!

"I saw Mouth of the architect open for These Arms are Snakes and they were great. Since I was too poor to buy one of their full lengths I got this one and man it's good. the first song is theirs, and my fav, but I'll have to check out Kenoma as well as pick up Mouth's other cds. Oh and to be a total dumb girl for a minute: Their singer was like sooo cute omigod! There, now that thats out of my system, check this band out cuz they slay and sounded awesome live."
