Devil's Racetrack first came into fruition as a project after many listeners, who have heard Squeakin' Wheels in the Southern California area, often requested recordings of their music. Over a year and a half was invested into this project by the quartet, along with the capable abilities of Bruce Bishop, at Padua Studios, handling not only engineering duties, but playing bass on many of the tracks. This compilation shows the listener, all facets of the band members abilities, both as musicians and vocalists, and also their keen song writing abilities. The marriage of two technologies; digital and analog, assure the listener a clear portrait of the bands vision, along with capturing the warmth of their acoustic instruments and intricacy of tight, four-part harmonies.
