"I bought this CD while standing right next to Jimbo Mathus, the band leader of the Zippers. He's a really cool guy, and if you ever see him you'll be able to tell that he's got a mouth full of metal. I really like this album, which is just chock (is that how you spell it?) full of pleasant jazz. It's rarely heard in comparison with their newer stuff, but I'd say that although the group wasn't yet famous or anything, that doesn't change the fact that it's really great. I just wish there was more of it."

"This EP by the Squirrel Nut Zippers has a slightly more tropical flavor, produced by a heavy emphasis on Hawaiian Slack Key guitar. I suggest listning to it on cold days, while turning up your heat and dancing around your house in your bathing suit. It should produce a strong Island Vacation feel."

"Their usual fun preformance, but note this CD has only 4 songs for 10 min. Little Mother-in-Law, You Are My, Anything But Love , and Wash Jones."
