Must buy for Floyd fans with a sense of humor

"I must admit, I bought this album really not knowing what to expect. What did I get?A great pop / rock / blues / folk re-interpretation of a classic prog rock recording. It's GOOD, make no mistake about it. GOOD as in "these guys really know what they are doing". The sonics are impeccable, the production values outstanding, the songs are GREAT (Money stands out as a complete re-interpretation of an excellent song). It's kinda funny, kinda grating, but overall, it's brutally honest in its purpose (making a tribute to Pink Floyd) while injecting a much needed dose of humour and inventiveness to a classic.I'm HAPPY I got this album. It's EXCELLENT."

Humor DOES belong in music

"Frank Zappa once asked "Does Humor Belong In Music?" If it does (and, in fact, it DOES) then, with this disc, Rob Morgan and the rest of The Squirrels have now earned a place as the jesters/sages of rock'n'roll.
Rob and the Squirrels deftly turn this Pink Floyd monument in to something completely different, yet totally deferential. It is both tribute and satire in the same breath - not a very easy thing to do.
The musicianship is top rate, the production by Conrad Uno is impeccable (as always) and Rob's ringmaster is deranged and totally focused at the same time.
Most importantly, the humor in this disc is derived from the music much more than the lyrics (i.e., Rob stays pretty true to the original lyric). In addition to twisted interpretations of the original themes/melodies, nods to the O-Jays "Money" and Frank Zappa's "The Torture Never Stops" are cleverly woven in to The Squirrel's tribute.
I can't praise this disc enough."
