This is a great cd! I loved the movie because of the music so now I can listen to it in the car. If you haven't seen the movie - you should rent it, it's great!

Great Music but Why TWO Separate Cds to purchase?
Angela Watts | Michigan | 11/27/2005
(4 out of 5 stars)

"This set reminds me of how they had the Lion King soundtrack years ago, They have two separate cds. One with the songs shown on this website, and for others craving more, there is another one at sites such as Family Christian that have the following songs

1. Awesome God

2. Still Alive

3. Please Answer

4. You Are Good

5. The Closer I Get To You - Roberta Flack

6. Be Alright

7. When Seasons Change

8. All Things Are Working - Fred Hammond

9. Glorious - Martha Munizzi

10. Victory - Yolanda Adams

11. Now Behold The Lamb

If you are looking for these cd's I suggest you look up the songs and decide if it has what you want on it prior to purchasing it since they look exact on the case from their photos on both websites. Just a heads up for fans of the movie.

Better yet, get both and just have that much extra to listen to, they are both awesome cds! About to order another pair for my in laws."
Not ideal commemoration of the film's musical experience
A. Gallego | 10/28/2005
(4 out of 5 stars)

"Although the film was very heartstring tugging and spiritually moving, I was disappointed that the soundtrack didn't include Tamyra Gray's "Seasons Change". Instead there are substitutes for that as well as "Peace Like a River". A TRUE soundtrack wouldn't make non-appearing track substitutes in the place of tracks that would be highly expected!

I bought the CD last night and was sad that I didn't find tracks I was expecting-- instead the substitutes leave you wondering why on earth they replaced what should have been on this CD! Oh well! I guess I better look more carefully next time! It's this kind of deception, however, that leaves a person a little more skeptical/cynical about supporting projects like this in the future without carefully scrutinizing the package contents! Never again will I take for granted that a film soundtrack WILL include (in this case it didn't) all of the music represented in the movie! Yolanda Adams "Victory" and Walker's "I Need You To Survive" tops off this "alternative" soundtrack and is well-balanced with the other song offerings; however, still I'm left with the feeling that the producers of this album didn't have The Gospel foremost in mind when they released this soundtrack, truth be told!"
