Synopsis

Product Description
Originally the band was billed as 'Scarab' with a line up of Tony Saenz (lead guitar), Jake Barber (guitar), Ernie Vega (bass), John F. Kennedy (drums), and Brian Little (vocals), ....Chris Ritchie filled in for(drums/bass) on multiple occasions....Jesse Navarro of Bad Acid Cafe did some fills on guitar as well.

Creative differences and life itself generated some side projects evolving the band into StapleHead. [The episode was when Jesse basically crashed his vehicle with Brian as the passenger. Without any further detail, the trip to Kaiser led to staples rather than stitches for our beloved Brian (thus band name change).]

There are ranges of 60's -70's cleaned up psychedelic melodies through 80's metal in the solo's and builds, yet a 90's and current sound to the sequencing as with Jake's and Ernie's coalition. This combined with Tony's creative and intuitive self taught guitar wit, became the sound of what Scarab/StapleHead was and still is to this very day.

Each song has it's own certainty and definitive meaning as the vast influences created a sound explosion screaming excellence though headphones.

Brian and Tony remain dedicated as the initial founder/co founder of this venture, to delivering spirited studio versions of experimental fades. They write
with freedoms unconstrained by a medium dictating modern pop. It is this love of music, poetry and stream of consciousness that drives this venture.
That was the initial motivation still sustaining this fine body of work.
Tony and Brian met at Verdugo Hills High School.

Brian holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Southern California, a Master's from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing of California.
