CD ReviewsKid Rock ... but for adults, too! Jersey Joker | Laurel, MD | 03/21/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "Well, I AM over 13, so I thought I'd write this review on Starfish's debut album. Actually, these guys are a phenomenal group. Talented players and songwriters all ... even the drummer (you know, "the guy with the band"). You'll hear what I mean when you get the CD (or download, or however you wanna get your filthy hands on these tracks!) Joshua's Treehouse is one track that stands out to me, as I had a treehouse when I was a kid. Well, maybe not a treehouse, but I did climb a tree once. It was great up there. The air was fresh ... I loved it. Seriously, these are great tracks that your kids will enjoy, even if you don't have any. Good singin', good playin', and all in good fun. So score this one today, however you can. And catch Starfish live, if you ever get the chance. Your kids will love it, and they'll love you for it! Stop, Drop, and ROCK AND ROLL!" Here Comes...A Great Kids Rock Band! CROCHET ROCKS | NJ | 04/25/2010 (5 out of 5 stars) "These guys are so awesome! Their music is great for both kids and parents alike. Have you ever been listening to some music around kids and then cringed when an inappropriate lyric made it to their little ears? That'll never be the case with Starfish's music. Their stuff is fun, energetic, humorous, and most of all appropriate for little ones. Even better, it's the kind of music you can play and as adults, not get bored or annoyed with because it isn't cutsey. It's just good, clean, rock and roll music aimed to make kids dance! My favorite song on this album is "Here Comes Trouble!" I'm looking forward to your next album. Keep'em coming!"
