Sweet melody, nothing new

"It isn't unusual for a musician to satisfy his or her desire on working a 'solo' album, and so is Hammerfall's Stefan Elmgren. Although this solo album is NOT bad at all (and I never felt sorry for having bought this one), it fails to offer something new (at least to me). The music is just fine, the lyrics are OK. I like "We Will Rise," "Silent Screams," (hi guys at Amazon.[com],it's not "Silent Creams" as the track listing said!) and the instrumental "First Strike". Other tracks passed my ear easily. Yet this is just another standard power metal album. If you like Hamerfall, Stratovarius, or Edguy, you'll like this one. If you're looking for NEW speed-metal flavor, skip this one."
