"The instrument pictured on the album cover is a Ni um Ni - a hollow reed that is played by INHALING (Clinton probably couldn't play this instrument). The tone is changed by differing the lip pressure. The music is typical Micus reed and flute instruments - and when the Ni um Ni comes in it calls the soul to attention much like Buddhist reed and trumpet blasts do. The sound is simply amazing. And, again, as with all Micus albums except The Music of Stones, he plays all instruments. Next to To The Evening Child, I find this album one of the most tranquil and serene."
