"The single "Call the Police" is a hit record waiting to happen. Used to be in constant rotation on 1280 am, party blues and oldies in New Orleans. "Monkey Talk" was also a (dirty) regional hit. Both songs rely on hip-hop production styles for their hooks. The rest of this record is pretty much straight ahead Party Blues, a genre loved by this reviewer, but hated by many for its use of synthesizers and programmed drum tracks. Of course those people are stupid."
