"This is a superb disc of exquisite music expertly realized. Yes, some early Scriabin is Chopinesque yet wholly original--and in some instances better still. Echoes of Beethoven also abound. Really, one can't go wrong with this disc on the gourmet Hyperion label. Love the Victorian erotic cover art, too."
