"It should be noted as we start that I enjoy Stephen Pearcy's vocals a lot. He is not the greatest, but he is distinct. I enjoy all of his post Ratt projects to a point so I figured I would try this cd on for size. I was surprised to find I enjoyed it more than any of his other stuff.

The album starts off with "I Gotta Be Me." The album is raw and dirty. No polish or shine but I think that was intentional. The aforementioned song is great for singing along and turning up loud. The albums is covered with catchy tunes and I credit Mr. Pearcy for that. The only complaint for the album is that the songs do sound very similar, however they are all great rock n roll tunes so it happens.

Overall I say this album is worth picking up if you enjoy RATT or straight driving Hard Rock music. I enjoy it immensely."

"First of all, whomever mixed this record did a remarkable job -- perfect in fact. Pearcy's voice is down in the mix, an equal element in the sum of the sound. This record isn't Pearcy with a band playing under him. This is a band playing together, tightly fused, grooving with and off one another. It's produced as pure, crystalline rock, with no bells and whistles to get in the way of guys who know how to play and let it flat-out pour from the gut. All that said, I really like only one song on the album (but I'll listen to three or four others). But, oh, that one song. A rock masterpiece. Thick, chunky, sonic, lyrical, joyful. It's rock at the top of Mt. Everest. Sheer nirvana. You've gotta play it double -- repeat it immediately so it plays twice. And, of course, you've gotta let your speaker cones really flex... loud, baby. So what's the song? Not saying. Out of respect for the band, I don't want people going on online to download it without buying the album. These guys deserve the wherewithal to continue making music. And they, the band, know which song I'm talking about."

"This is some of Stephen Pearcy's best work. You can tell from listening to this album that SEP put a lot of effort into Social Intercourse. The production is great and the songs just rule. My favorite track from the album is Live to Die, which is an awesomely catchy song. Even my friends that hate Ratt loved that song. The song In Like Pink was released as the single from the album and sounds very similar to Ratt's "Your in Trouble" with the whole intro and bass line. Other awesome songs include I gotta be me, Turn it upside down, and Ya Gotta Love that. This album kicks ass...get it."
