Big Subversive Fun

"This was my first Stereo Total album, and it spurred me to get most of their others. Luckily, it was my first because it is arguably their best and most cohesive set, yet. To enjoy, bring a flexible sense of adult fun and leave piety at the door. Voix au Telephone is pure delicious French Pop. Stricherjunge is a lighthearted romp featuring the musings of a male prostitute. Komplex mit dem Sex is a casiotone peon to sexual confusion. Patty Hearst is a nostalgic giddy love song as imagined by a lost member of the leftist Baader-Meinhof gang set to an era-appropriate soundtrack. Lolita Fantome is another retro-pop gem (think AIR's Sexy Boy). Or, maybe the punk fun of Plus Minus Null and Plastik are more your cup of tea. And after all of that, why not top if off with a Serge Gainsbourg diddy? Sound like madcap ironic fun to you? Then, enjoy."
