(3 out of 5 stars)
"Well, it's been a while since S. Angello had anything to release. It's been a long wait...but well worth it. I'll jump right into the review with Disc #1. Very nice beginnig with the vocal track "Bring on the night" with a great lead in to the lovely "Les Violons Ivres." This is where we can really see the progression from previous releases taking us off the beaten path of typical Progressive/Break/Techy stuff that is ever present in dance music. I love the fact that we get the classic "Everytime" with some interesting background affects that can only be heard on a top notch stereo system. Excellent selection here!! From here on out we can feel the upbeat tempo and the BPM increase which leads us to "With every heartbeat" and the superb "The sun can't compare" This disc is certainly one of the better discs in my current rotation. Overall, Disc 1 = 5 stars.
Disc 2 is certainly on the minimal side of things which I have yet to grasp. Surely the minimal trend has taken the industry by storm...but I cannot seem to get my arms around it. The are some decent tracks here...but I am going to highlight the very last track "Trix." Wow...what an ending to the set. This track is ridiculous and well worth the wait through the entire CD.
****Note: I meant to give this 4 stars...but could not edit my review."
