A Great Soundtrack To A Great Movie

"I really loved this movie alot and couldn't wait to get the soundtrack! I am obsessed with Vitamin C who is in the movie and does a few numbers including the opening dance sequence "Love Will Keep Us Together" - which by the way is her lip syncing to Captain & Tennille, not her own voice - and a super sweet duet with Sisqo called September where she does use her own voice. I was extremely dissapointed to find out when I bought the cd that September is not on it. I hope it will be on Sisqo's new cd, because it ain't on Vitamin C's..... anyway, after that let down I listened to the cd a couple times and looooooved it!!! I like every song on there. My favorites are: "Get With Me" by Shorty 101, "Sho' Nuff" by Fatboy Slim, "Perfect World" by Mikaila, "Alison" by Elvis Costello and The Attractions, "The Shining" by Badly Drawn Boy "
Kirsten Dunst sings so fantastically!

"I just watched the DVD and the songs Kirsten Dunst sings are breathtaking. I wish they would have made a longer version of "The Girl Inside" (which she sings at the audition) and put it on the Soundtrack. I listen to the Bonus Section of the DVD over and over... And the other song "Dream of me" is beyond words and truly worth buying the CD. I wonder who this gifted composer is. She/He and Kirsten Dunst should make a whole CD!!!!"
Pretty good soundtrack...just missing one song though

"This was a very good--if not widely seen--movie, and had a lot of great songs in it. Unfortunately, as has been mentioned, the only one missing is one of the best in the movie, namely Sisqo & Vitamin C's cover of September. Other than downloading an MP3 on the web, there is no way to get this song on a CD--it's not on this soundtrack, nor on any of Sisqo's albums or Vitamin C's. Maybe they didn't get Earth, Wind & Fire's permission to use the cover version on the soundtrack, though I can't see why if they had it in the movie to begin with. Other than missing that, the soundtrack is great, and if you've seen the movie, you'll immediately remember every song on the album."
