"I am from Philadelphia,PA and have been following STEVE COHEN'S career for years. This is Steve's spohomore albumn and lyrically, and instrumentally it is well done. To describe Steve's style would be like....Elton John meeting Bruce Springsteen. "Spanish Fly" is the hit from this cd, it drives and drives with a some nice quitar work. The two ballads, "I Must Have Been Crazy" and "Some Believe" are gut wrenching stuff. Cohen is super with his more forceful songs, "You Don't Know What You Want" and "Don't Worry About Me" With the sax, the Hammond Organ, viloin accompanying him Cohen pushes his piano playing to the max. There is a hint of Springsteen with some of the tasty blues/rock arrangements. BILLBOARD MAGIZINE said....."this project should take Cohen to the next commercial level." "Jenny" is the centerpiece of Cohen's fantastic songwriting ability. The fun song of the cd is "Dykes Lumber" clever, fun lyrics to offset the serious side of Cohen's talents. I think this a wise buy and a must to have in your cd collection."
