"Looking for a CD to liven up a dinner party or just to cheer you up, while sitting in front of the computer, or curling with your favourite book? You will love Steve Cole and his jazzy and groovy CD. The CD has a perfect start with "I Got It Goin' On" - so warm and inviting. As the CD progresses, you would also find some gems, like track #5, "For Your Love" - lush and sensual; or TLC's classic "Waterfalls". For those who love jazz and saxophone, and looking for some warm and sensual music that is not too hard to 'comprehend', Steve Cole's "Between Us" is perfect."
Will only grow musically with each project

"This is a fine effort by Steve Cole. Musically laiden with recurring themes and the production work of Brian Culbertson this is a keeper for my collection. Not yet up to par with the big boys ie, Richard Elliot, Boney James and Kim Waters, Steve is getting his smooth tracks together. This project starts with the jazzy first cut Got it Goin On, which is the one getting the most air time on the radio. However its my opinion that the two best cuts are track # 3 Take Me Home To You and #4 So Into You ( Which is the best track on this CD ). " So Into You " is smooth and yet funky with a great beat and a fine musical accompyment. With Brian Culbertson on Keys and Michael White on drums and Luis Conte on percussion your toe will be a-tappen. Steve can only grow with each musical project."
Awesome! Definitely a 5 star!

"Just about every single track is a real winner! Great sound and style plus exciting, upbeat tunes. I don't think any smooth jazz lover could be disappointed by purchasing this one."

"I discovered Steve Cole while travelling to the US west coast and listening to smooth jazz radio stations. "Between us" definitely has to belong to your collection of smooth jazz CDs. The Steve Cole touch is here : soft, revitalizing, wonderfully appealling. Steve, when do you come over to France for a concert ?"

"Often you read a review and you can pretty well tell the artist's friends and family have been sumbitting their rather stilted views. This is a fine CD however I think his first effort was better quality and more focused. I mean if you're gonna be funky let loose a la Kirk Whalum or Gerald Albright don't just experiment. I recommend this CD, but I guarantee there will be tracks that you will skip over....."
