"Have you seen or heard Steve Green live at Camp of the Woods in Speculator New York July 19, 1999. He was great and sang many of his best recordings."
I Used Songs for My Christmas Cantatas

"This is an excellent Christian CD. When functioning as a Music Director (as opposed to my current title, Praise Leader), I used three of these songs for choir performance in Christmas cantatas. I've also sang a couple of them for church services.
"Midnight Clear Medley" is a seven-minute opening that virtually anyone can sing except, of course, for the ending notes of "O Come All Ye Faithful." "The First Noel" is a rock back and forth version at a slow pace that warms your heart. "All My Heart Rejoice" features a children's choir in antiphonal style with Green himself. "Good News" is the typical 'one weak track' we've come to expect from Steve Green recordings. "Rose of Bethlehem" and "Jesu, Light of Lights" carry it to a splendid finish.
Much more mature than his "Joy to the World" from nine years earlier. His growth as an artist is well reflected on this CD, and I've had many recommend it to people who have never heard of Green before. I agree. Enjoy."
