"The liner notes confess that the quality of the recording was not the best, and that some defects still remain despite the engineering. However, the concert stands up despite some flaws, and the final three tracks are quite good in both performance and sound quality. Two tracks will probably be new to most listeners: "The Water Wheel" and "Jazz on a Summer's Night." Water Wheel has Steve's trademark exotic acoustic touch -- a relaxing interlude -- while Jazz is an up-beat, melodic piece that anticipates his later Bacchus piece. Both are quite beautiful in different ways. This CD underscores Steve Hackett's legitimacy as a serious acoustic player."
