"This CD was just reissued by Sunny Side in the US under the new name "Pastoral". The music here is great! Billy Drummond's ride playing is a text book lesson in itself."
"Yeah Booooooy"!!!!!!

"Don't know why I jumped out car after cracking open Steve Kuhn's Waltz:Red Side" and felt compelled to quote Flavor Flav (inappropriate right?) but it's his unique goofy sense of enthusiasm I felt. This a unique concept in jazz.Steve Kuhn and the folks at Venus made two CD's with same leader, same drummer, different bassist. Here on Waltz:Red Side" is the great Eddie Gomez and the other CD the "Waltz:Blue Side" with the great Kieth Jarret cohort Gary Peacock). No only that the nine tunes are the same except for Red Side has "How Am I To Know" and Blue Side "When I Grow To Old To Dream".But have (not in same order) "Charade","Remember",Years Latter","Once Upon A Summertime","My Buddy","I'll Take Romance","I am Glad There Is A You" and "Pastorale".Haven't gotten "Blue Side Yet" but know it should be great side by side one after an other to hear.Man whose got the moeny and time for all this?Well that doesn't stop us does it.And here is another winner for the great Steve Kuhn.
Cheers
